No airconditioning - so stifling and with the windows open, it is very noisy on weekend nights

Very dirty hostel, with no aircondition and no fans either. Our room hasn`t been cleaned for ages, since the dust was at least 2cm thick on the floor. There were a lot of notes mentioning to clean your mess, but it kinda felt very annyoing to see these reminders on every freaking object u could find. I wouldn`t recommend it...eventhough the Lady working there was very nice and friendly

I loved this place, would definitely recommend this place to anybody. This location and the one in Quebec City!

Front door was shattered, single outside lock with code instead of key, no interior locks. Had to buy a lock for the lockers. Extremely poor security. Beds hard and barely put together. Showers and bathrooms decent. Location decent, but at the far end of most shopping/attractions/bars. Bring money for metro.

Good place to stay for purely accommodation purposes as there are limited activities around the hostel. However the staff are willing to help out with activities if directly asked. It is also very tidy as it is cleaned almost daily

Hostel has a perfect location in a city center, close to the shopping area. There are few large supermarkets in a near proximity. Its managers do a good job in keeping the common areas tidy and quite. There is a nice kitchen for common use. Free and fast WIFI is an another advantage. However the hostel does require some renovation. In a private room for 1 person I had 3 beds and no table. Another thing that I din`t like is a limited check -in hours.

Not impressed with the 9 dorm for purely 2 reasons. 1 there were only two lockers for 9 people which does not equal up and secondly they are 3 tier bunk beds but no ladder to get to the top bed. So you have to climb and step on other peoples beds to get up.

I was really desapointed about this hostel, i've been in so many hostels but this was the worst. It was very dirty, the sink was clogged, the furniture was old and dirty too. Awful

This hostel is good if you just want a place to sleep in a good location in Montreal. Otherwise, it does not have much else going for it. There is not much in the way of community or fun here. The staff (of one) was usually absent, and the hostel itself is really disorganized. The check-in/check-out times (10am and 5pm) are strange as well. The list of amenities are few as well. But for $20/night for a bed, or $45/night for a single, you get what you pay for.
